The Israeli occupation army has persistently violated the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, carrying out daily incursions and attacks.
The occupation forces targeted on Saturday the area surrounding the Imam Al-Sadr Sports Complex in the town of Mays Al-Jabal, which was shelled with artillery.
Israeli Tanks, Bulldozers Enter Southern Lebanon
Israeli Merkava tanks and a bulldozer advanced into the Lebanese town of Maroun Al-Ras and the Aqbah Maroun neighborhood. One artillery shell was fired at a home in the Aqbah area.
Lebanese Army Responds with Blockades and Reinforcements
In response, the Lebanese Army closed several junctions in the town of Burj Al-Muluk, which all lead toward the southern Marjayoun plain and the town of Kfar Kila, using earthen barriers.
Additionally, an Israeli force moved toward Burj Al-Muluk and set up positions near the “Farah” station, blocking roads with barbed wire.
Intensified Reconnaissance Flights
Since early morning, there has been a noticeable increase in the activity of Israeli reconnaissance drones, flying low over the towns of Al-Duwayr, Jibshit, Harouf, and Aba. Israeli surveillance planes were also spotted over the villages of Al-Abbasiya, Tura, Burj Rahal, and Deir Qanun al-Nahr, as well as the area between Tyre and Al-Qasimiya in the south.
Israeli Ground Operations Near Border Towns
On Saturday morning, the Israeli occupation army conducted an incursion from the outskirts of the town of Adaisseh into the town of Al-Taybeh, carrying out wide-ranging searches using medium and heavy machine guns.
Additionally, an Israeli armored force advanced between the Bastra and Shannouh farms near the northern-southern border of Kfarshouba, following the launch of a flare over the Bastra farm earlier today. This coincided with Israeli forces carrying out sweeping searches with heavy machine guns in the areas surrounding the military positions in Al-Ramtha and Al-Sammaqa.
