The Resistance Movement Hamas has released four Israeli female soldiers, handing them over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) at Gaza City’s Palestine Square.

Later on, the four captives appeared with military uniforms, carrying souvenirs from Gaza. They were escorted by Al-Qassam fighters as they got onto a stage in the square.

They were then handed over to the International Red Cross whose representatives also got onto the stage to sign paperwork for their release.

This transfer marks the second stage of prisoner-captive exchange under the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, with preparations underway for the release of 200 Palestinian detainees.
