President Mahdi Al-Mashat extended his congratulations to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
In his message, Al-Mashat emphasized that the revolution, led by Imam Khomeini, was a historic event through which Iran regained its regional and international standing based on sovereignty and independence.
“The victory of the Iranian Revolution under the leadership of Imam Khomeini is a historic event that restored Iran’s regional and international position from a place of sovereignty and independence,” Al-Mashat stated.
Addressing Pezeshkian, he praised Iran’s steadfast positions in support of the central cause of the Muslim nation and its continued backing of resistance movements in Palestine and Lebanon.
“We highly appreciate your firm and unwavering stances on the central cause of the Muslim nation and your support for the resistance movements in Palestine and Lebanon,” he said.
Al-Mashat also reaffirmed Yemen’s full solidarity with Iran in the face of Zionist-American hegemony, which he described as a futile attempt to harm the Islamic Republic.
“We reaffirm our full solidarity with you in confronting Zionist-American dominance, which seeks in vain to harm the Islamic Republic of Iran,” he added.
Furthermore, Al-Mashat expressed Yemen’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Iran in a way that serves the interests of both nations and the broader Islamic world.
“We reiterate our keenness to enhance relations between our two countries for the benefit of our peoples and the nations of our Islamic Ummah,” he stated.
He concluded by affirming that revolutionary Iran remains an inspiring model for nations striving for freedom and dignity, free from the influence of global imperialist powers.
“Iran, as a revolutionary state, will remain a model for nations aspiring to freedom and dignity, independent of the control of arrogant foreign powers,” Al-Mashat affirmed.
The remarks come as Iran commemorates the anniversary of its 1979 revolution, which led to the establishment of the Islamic Republic. Celebrations across the country mark the event, reflecting its continued influence on regional dynamics.
