The official website of Ben Gurion Airport reported that the schedules for the majority of incoming flights have been adjusted, with international airlines adding the phrase “not final” to the arrival times.
The airport’s official website showed that 100 out of 120 scheduled flights have added this warning notice for the upcoming hours.
This measure follows the announcement by the Yemeni Armed Forces that Ben Gurion Airport has become “unsafe for air navigation” and will remain so until the aggression on Gaza stops and the blockade is lifted.
This precautionary step by airlines aims to alert travelers to potential changes in flight schedules due to security concerns arising from the escalation by the Zionist enemy in the region.
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the targeting of Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa area with a “Palestine-2” hypersonic ballistic missile, confirming that the operation successfully achieved its objective.
In a statement, the Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e clarified that this operation was carried out in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their resistance, marking the third such operation within 48 hours.
The Yemeni Armed Forces issued a warning to all airlines, stating that the so-called Ben Gurion Airport is no longer safe for air navigation and will remain so until the aggression on Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted.
The statement noted that the American enemy had launched several airstrikes on multiple provinces in the past hours in a failed attempt to prevent Yemen from supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
