Israeli killed, another wounded in shooting attack south of Haifa

An Israeli settler was killed and another wounded Monday morning in a shooting attack near the area of Yokneam, south of Haifa, in central “Israel” (1948 occupied Palestine),

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation acknowledged that one person was killed and another injured as a result of the shooting.

According to the Israeli  occupation police, the young man who carried out the attack near the Yokneam area ran over a number of Israelis at a bus station and then opened fire at them.

Hebrew media reported that Israeli occupation forces fired at the attacker killing him instantly.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that the resistance fighter who carried out the shooting attack near Haifa was identified as Karam Jabarin from the town of Zalfa near Umm al-Fahm.

Earlier, Israeli occupation army radio correspondent Doron Kadosh reported that the attacker is “an Arab citizen of Israel with Israeli citizenship, 25 years old, from the Wadi Ara region.”

According to Israeli media, the attacker was carrying an M16 weapon with which he carried out the double operation of running over and then shooting.

The Yokneam settlement was established in 1950, on the lands of the displaced Palestinian town of Qira in the occupied Lower Galilee at the base of the Carmel Mountains, overlooking Marj Ben Amer.

The settlement is the center of many small high-tech companies, and now has more than 100 technology companies.

This shooting comes in light of the escalation of the Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip with the renewed aggression on the enclave entering its seventh consecutive day.
