The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the launch of missile and drone strikes targeting key Israeli military and infrastructure sites in occupied Palestine, including the Sdot Micha missile base near Ashdod, Ben Gurion Airport in Yaffa, and a vital facility in Asqalan.
The Yemeni Armed Forces issued the following statement:
“In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their fighters, and in response to the ongoing war of genocide against our brothers in Gaza, the Missile Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a precise military operation using two ballistic missiles, one of which was a hypersonic “Palestine 2” missile, targeting the “Sdot Micha” airbase east of occupied Ashdod, a missile base for launching “Jericho” missiles and “Arrow” missile batteries.
The second missile, a “Dhulfiqar” type, targeted Ben Gurion Airport in occupied Yaffa.
Additionally, the Drone Air Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces conducted a military operation targeting a vital “Israeli” enemy target in occupied Asqalan using a drone.
By the grace of Allah, both operations successfully achieved their objectives, resulting in the closure of Ben Gurion Airport for approximately one hour, causing panic and confusion among settlers, and forcing millions of them to seek shelter.
The “Israeli” enemy, along with its American ally, must realize that Yemen—its leadership, people, and army—will not waver from its steadfast position in supporting and aiding the oppressed Palestinian people. Yemen will not abandon its religious, moral, and humanitarian duties, regardless of the consequences or outcomes.
We rely on Allah, the Exalted, and place our trust in Him, confident in His promise, assistance, and victory. This support and aid will not cease until the aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.”
