Iranian state television has confirmed the martyrdom of several senior military commanders and nuclear scientists following an Israeli aggression on Iran in the early hours of today.
According to Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri and commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hossein Salami have been martyred in Israeli aggression that also targeted scientists and civilians.
Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, commander of the central headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, was also martyred in one of the attacks which came early Friday.
State television and local media also reported the death of two scientists working on Iran’s nuclear program. They were identified as Fereydoun Abbasi-Davani and Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi.
