At least 68 Palestinian civilians killed in Gaza in past day alone

Over the past 24 hours, hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of at least 68 martyrs, as well as 388 people suffering from different injuries following Israeli attacks.

According to Gaza’s health ministry on Monday, a total of 5,139 people have been killed and 16,882 others have been injured since the Israeli occupation army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025.

The new fatalities increased the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which started on October 7, 2023, to 55,432 martyrs, the health ministry stated.

The ministry added that the total number of the wounded also surged to 128,923 people.

At least 38 aid seekers were killed and more than 182 injured by Israeli gunfire on Sunday, bringing the total number of people killed since last May at US-Israeli aid distribution centers to 338, with 2,831 others injured.

Meanwhile, efforts are underway to recover the bodies of more martyrs who are still missing in different areas of the Gaza Strip.
