At least 70 Palestinians were killed and 332 others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the region, according to Gaza’s health ministry .
In its daily report issued on Saturday , the ministry confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 57,338 fatalities, with an additional 135,957 people sustaining injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.
The death toll since Israel’s resumption of the genocide on March 18 after a two-month truce has also climbed to 6,780, in addition to 23,916 others injured, according to the report.
It noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense teams due to difficult conditions.
