Hundreds of people gathered in central Stockholm on Saturday to protest against the ongoing genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian people, the Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported.
The demonstration, held in Odenplan Square in the heart of the Swedish capital, was organized by a broad coalition of civil society organizations. Participants called for an immediate halt to the war crimes carried out by Israel in the Gaza Strip.
Protesters waved Palestinian flags and held up images of children killed during the ongoing war. Many carried signs with slogans such as “Stop the Genocide in Palestine” and “End Israeli War Crimes.”
Organizers and speakers at the rally condemned the international community’s silence and urged urgent action to stop the violence and hold perpetrators accountable.
