The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” reiterated on Wednesday that it is ready for a comprehensive Gaza deal through which all the Israeli captives are released in exchange for the release of an agreed upon number of Palestinian prisoners.
In a statement, Hamas said it was still awaiting a response from the Israeli occupation regime regarding the last ceasefire proposal that had been tabled by mediators on August 8 and accepted by the Palestinian factions in Gaza.
Hamas stressed that any deal must put an end to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip and lead to a complete withdrawal of the Israeli occupation army, the opening of border crossings and the launch of reconstruction efforts.
The Movement also reiterated its approval for the formation of an independent national administration of technocrats to immediately manage the affairs of the Gaza Strip.
