Leading Ansarullah member Muhammad al-Bukhaiti says political solution in Yemen is unlikely

Muhammad Nasser Al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Political Bureau of Ansarullah in Sana’a, asserted that “a political solution in Yemen is no longer possible.”

In a post on the “X” platform on Friday, Al-Bukhaiti explained that the decision is not in the hands of those he called “mercenaries” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition states (Saudi Arabia, UAE), and that their interests have become tied to the continuation of the crisis.

He stated that the continuation of conflicts in Yemen represents a strategic and economic interest for the United States and Britain, noting that their claims of seeking peace are merely “deception for the people.”

Al-Bukhaiti called for the “Yemeni people to arm themselves with awareness” as a prelude to a comprehensive popular movement to liberate Yemen from “occupation” and recover its plundered wealth.

He considered this to be the “most suitable option” compared to a military decisive option, which he described as “costly”, reiterating that the “war of liberation is everyone’s responsibility.”
