In an official statement, the ministry said Sayyid Khamenei devoted his life to jihad in the path of Allah, defending the causes of the Islamic nation and confronting global arrogance. It described his martyrdom as a grave loss for the entire Islamic Ummah.

It accused the Israeli enemy and the United States of pursuing a systematic project aimed at subjugating Arab and Islamic nations and exploiting their resources.
The statement affirmed solidarity with Iran’s leadership and people, citing Tehran’s longstanding support for the Palestinian cause and rejection of normalization and Western hegemony projects. The Yemeni Scholars Association issued a statement mourning Sayyid Khamenei, describing him as an exceptional religious scholar and leader whose martyrdom constitutes a major loss for the Islamic nation.
