Al‑Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, has blessed the counterattacks that were carried out by Hezbollah in Lebanon against Israeli targets, stressing that the Lebanese resistance has the right to defend its territory against aggression.
In a Sunday statement, Abu Obeida, spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades, hailed the heroism of Lebanon’s Islamic Resistance fighters as they confront the invading Zionist forces, inflict heavy losses on them, and strike strategic targets deep inside Israel.
Abu Obeida expressed al‑Qassam Brigades’ solidarity with Lebanon’s resistance fighters, saying “they are exercising their legitimate right to defend their land and national sovereignty against ongoing aggression.”
The spokesman mourned Lebanon’s martyrs, wished a swift recovery to the wounded, and safety for its people, while praising Hezbollah’s late secretary-general Hasan Nasrallah for his “moral and courageous decision to stand by Gaza and its people.”
He urged the Arab and Muslim nations to join forces to foil Israel’s schemes aimed at expanding the circle of conflict in the region.
