Dozens of casualties in Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon

Lebanon’s health ministry reported dozens of casualties as a result of Israeli strikes on different southern areas of the country on Tuesday.

According to the ministry, an Israeli airstrike on the al-Masaken neighborhood in the southern city of Tyre killed eight people and injured 32 others.

In the town of al-Marwaniyah in southern Lebanon, two people, including a child, were martyred and 10 others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the town.

Additionally, seven citizens were killed and others were injured in another airstrike carried out at dawn today, which targeted the town of Zefta in the Nabatieh Governorate.

In a related context, Lebanon’s National News Agency said that Israeli occupation forces blew up several homes in the border town of Maroun al-Ras, causing extensive damage to property and infrastructure.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression against Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 3,666, with an additional 11,321 people injured, according to official statistics.
