Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf met with Yemen’s Supreme Political Council member Mohammed Al-Nuaimi in Tehran, where the two officials said recent regional developments have strengthened the cohesion and unity of the Resistance Front against the United States and the Zionist entity.
During the meeting, Qalibaf said the United States and the Zionist entity had been compelled to acknowledge the Islamic Republic’s allies within the Resistance Front after failing to weaken or isolate the alliance. He said political and battlefield developments had imposed new realities that Washington and the Israeli entity were unable to overcome.
Qalibaf added that Iran and the Resistance Front had stood side by side against the United States and the Zionist entity, describing the recent memorandum of understanding as a defeat for the US project and a political and strategic achievement for the Resistance Front that established new regional balances.
He stressed that preserving the spirit of jihad and maintaining constant readiness remain the primary deterrent against adversaries, warning that the United States and the Zionist entity would seek to ignite new conflicts whenever they perceive weakness within the Resistance Front.
Qalibaf also said recent developments had led some Islamic countries to conclude that neither the United States nor the Zionist entity could provide security or economic stability, arguing that reliance on them had produced only further crises.
Praising Yemen’s role, he said the Yemeni people had consistently supported the Resistance Front and stood by the Palestinian people, Gaza, and Lebanon despite years of aggression and blockade imposed on Yemen.
For his part, Al-Nuaimi said Yemen and the Islamic Republic stand “in the same trench” in defense of the Islamic nation and its core causes, adding that relations between the two sides are founded on a shared vision in confronting US and Zionist hegemonic projects.
He considered Iran’s conduct during the recent war as a model for all components of the Resistance Front, saying its military performance and political leadership offered valuable lessons.
He added that Iran’s resilience and the outcome of the confrontation had strengthened regional confidence in the resistance option and reinforced the importance of coordination among Resistance Front members in confronting hegemonic projects and defending the Palestinian cause.
