Lebanon’s Health Ministry said on Wednesday evening that the cumulative death toll from Israeli attacks since March 2 had risen to 4,321, with 12,203 others wounded.
The ministry’s Emergency Operations Center announced the figures as Israeli attacks continued in southern Lebanon.
Lebanon and Israel had previously signed a US-brokered framework agreement that includes security arrangements and the redeployment of the Lebanese Army in the south, as well as measures to rebuild affected areas, revive the Lebanese economy, establish direct communication channels between the two sides, and implement confidence-building measures as a step toward lasting peace
