Several Al-Qaeda operaties killed in central Yemen

A number of Al-Qaeda operatives fighting in the ranks of the Saudi-led coalition forces against Yemeni army forces have been killed in battles taking place in northern Ma’rib during the past three days.

This was reported by Yemen Press Agency, based on local sources on Thursday.

Among the dead Al-Qaeda members was leading figure Abdullah Hassan Al-Boraihi, in addition to recruits from the coalition forces, according to the sources.

Al-Boraihi was appointed by the coalition forces as staff commander of the first battalion in the “First Brigade of Border Guards” in Ma’rib.
