Southern Revolutionary Movement calls for withdrawal of all foreign forces from Southern Yemen

The Southern Revolutionary Movement, an organisation active in southern Yemen, has called on the people of the southern provinces to end all foreign rule, demanding the withdrawal of all occupation forces from southern Yemen.

A spokesman for the movement stressed the need to end the Saudi-Emirati occupation in the southern provinces, and to restore the Yemeni territories occupied by Saudi Arabia.

He stated that the movement is a partner with the Sana’a government in liberating southern Yemen from foreign occupation, and that it is not concerned with any agreements that do not solve the southern issue within the national framework.

“The ambition of the Southern Revolutionary Movement lies in establishing an independent, national, democratic state in Yemen that contributes to the security and stability of the region and the future of Yemen,” the spokesman said.

He called for the reconstruction of Yemen, the payment of compensation, and a fair trial of the perpetrators of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
