British MP files case against Israel in International Criminal Court

Independent Member of the British Parliament, Claudia Webb, has filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court to investigate Israeli war crimes in the Gaza Strip, demanding that the perpetrators be prosecuted.

The MP for Leicester East said, in a post on her account on the “X” platform, that the scale of the bombing of Gaza and the loss of civilian lives requires immediate action.

Claudia added, “I will not be an accomplice to the crimes that occur in Gaza.”

“As a member of the British Parliament, I signed a complaint to the International Criminal Court to investigate war crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip and prosecute their perpetrators.” She said.

Claudia, known in Britain for her stances in support of peoples’ rights to self-determination, stressed, saying, “We cannot remain silent.”

In a second post, she called on her supporters to sign the international initiative “Justice for Gaza,” with the aim of mobilizing international positions to stop the war against civilians in the Strip.

She said that the success of this international campaign would prompt the judges of the International Criminal Court to investigate and prosecute the Israeli government on charges of committing genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.
