Eleven prisoners of war released as clemency by Sana’a government

Authorities in Sana’a released on Sunday 11 people from Al-Hujariya area in Taiz provinces, who were captured in the operation “Nasr Min Allah” while fighting in the ranks of the Saudi-led coalition forces.

The prisoners, who were released at the directives of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Al-Houthis in response to the request of the notables and sheikhs of the area, arrived in Taiz today, where they were received by the Acting Governor, Ahmed Amin Al-Masawa.

It is noteworthy that the coalition abandoned thousands of prisoners who were captured by the Yemeni forces in the mentioned operation in Wadi Al Jabara in September 2018 and refused to put their names on the prisoner exchange lists.
