Thirteen Yemenis detained for unknown reason while trying to take plane from Aden to Russia

The pro-Saudi-led coalition authorities detained on Sunday 13 Yemenis at Aden Airport who were on their way to travel to Russia through Egypt’s Cairo Airport.

Informed sources reported that the Aden airport authorities, which are controlled by the coalition, prevented the 13 passengers who were heading to Russia via a Yemeni flight to Cairo, despite the fact that there is no notification or circular preventing Yemenis from traveling to Moscow.

According to the sources, the 13 travelers concealed the fact of immigrating to Russia under the guise of participating in a training course in Russia, indicating that the authorities loyal to the UAE (the Southern Transitional Council) seized the travelers’ passports.

The sources accused the UAE of preventing Yemenis from traveling to Russia under American and Israeli directions for fear of their joining the ranks of the Russian forces against the Ukrainian army, which is supported by Europe and America.
