President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Thursday called on the Saudi-led coalition countries to urgently respond to Sanaa’s fair demands, “Which will have a positive impact on the path towards peace and an end to the war.”
In his speech this evening, on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of the October 14 revolution, President Al-Mashat said that “The day of October 14 represents one of the most important and immortal national days in the history of Yemeni people, and everyone who knows what freedom and independence mean.”
President Al-Mashat stressed that the anniversary of the October revolution is an important station for enriching experiences, reviewing and evaluating people and positions.
He advised all those who dream of dividing and fragmenting Yemen to abandon these hateful dreams, because “Yemen will not be stable except as one and united, and the interests of the region require maintaining it unified.”
“Whoever deludes the owners of small projects to cutting Yemen into pieces is in fact practicing a form of fraud and deception against them, and he is a criminal against his country,” President Al-Mashat said.
He added that “History does not preserve separatist precedents that can withstand long, and all these precedents were voluntarily vanished before the unity of Yemeni conscience.”
President Al-Mashat called on everyone to continue adhering to the independent Yemen project, which is led today by Sanaa and in which all its national forces are unique, without any competitor or rival.
